MICHELLE YEOH’S character, Captain Georgiou, may have been killed off in episode two of Star Trek: Discovery, but the Malaysian actress will be back in the TV series.

Gretchen J. Berg, one of the producers, has confirmed that Yeoh will return in some form sometime in the near future.

Speaking at New York Comic Con (NYCC) on Saturday, Berg said Star Trek fans had not seen the last of Captain Georgiou yet.

“You will see more of this woman on the show,” TV Guide quoted her as saying.

Captain Georgiou was killed in episode two, Battle at the Binary Stars, by a Klingon named T’Kuvma during a hand-to-hand combat.
