The 2018 Asian Games torch arrived in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, on Monday (30/07). The torch relay travels 18,000 kilometers through 53 cities and districts in 18 provinces of Indonesia.

The eternal flame crossed the Martapura River on a kelotok boat.

South Kalimantan Education, Youth and Sports Office head Zakly Asswan brought the torch to South Kalimantan Governor Sahbirin Noor.
From Banjarmasin the torch relay will travel to Aceh, Lake Toba in North Sumatra, Pekanbaru in Riau, Jambi, Palembang in South Sumatra, Lampung, Serang in Banten, Bandung in West Java.The Asian Games will be co-hosted by Jakarta and Palembang from Aug. 18 through Sept. 2.
