Students leave for Singapore Youth Festival

TEN students and a guidance teacher from Duli Pengiran Muda Al-Muhtadee Billah College (Maktab Duli) left for Singapore yesterday to participate in the Singapore Youth Festival 2019 celebration from July 5-7.

The delegation was led by Senior Education Officer and Head of Akli Unit at the Co-Curriculum Education, Ministry of Education (MoE) Hajah Hajidah binti Haji Abdul Wahab.

Acting Director of Co-Curriculum Education, MoE Mohamed Jais bin Haji Abdul Rahman bid the delegation farewell at the Brunei International Airport.

The students were the champions of a Gulintangan competition between secondary schools, colleges and sixth form centres.

The festival celebration was an invitation from the Ministry of Education in Singapore.

They will perform Gulintangan today during the festival and participate in arts activities throughout the event.

The festival features arts performances by 4,000 students and mixed arts activities, which will attract about 200,000 audiences.
