CELEBRITY MEDIA: COVID-19: Mo Twister heartbroken over wife’s loss

24 Apr – Radio deejay Mo Twister couldn’t help but feel saddened for his wife Angelika “Angelicopter” Scheming following news that her brother has died from coronavirus.

As reported on GMA News, the “Good Times with Mo” host took to social media to express his thoughts about his brother-in-law’s death, writing, “I can’t even begin to put into words how devastated she is. I have never seen her this way. He was 38. I have never seen someone I care about so broken.”

“I’ve been crying for days, not just for the loss of my brother-in-law, but for the pain it has caused my wife, her mother, and what will come for Francis’ wife and son. Because of [COVID-19], they are not even allowed to grieve properly, to say goodbye,” he added.

Mo stated that the grief came in two parts – the shock of losing him and then the shock of not even being able to be together to comfort each other.

“His young son is now isolated, he needs to be isolated from others who have been in contact. My mother-in-law is isolated after losing her son. His wife has to be isolated. It’s crazy to even think of that. They can’t be together. It’s unbelievable,” he wrote.

Mo stated that while he believes that everybody will survive this pandemic, it has already taken a toll on his wife and the family.

“It will leave a hole so big in our lives forever that I don’t care for the lessons we will learn. I’m only focused on what was lost. He wasn’t just a young man, he was a very good man. It is unfair. Mother Nature is unforgiving,” he added.

Mo stated that the experience has tested his spirit and resolve, and expressed hope that his kids will love each other the way that his wife loved her brother.

“I wish Lucas would take care of Amsterdam the way Francis took care of Angelika. I hope Amsterdam would speak so highly of Lucas as Angelika always did of her brother. Today, I wish I had a degree in infectious diseases because I would be fucking relentless and obsessed in stopping this thing, for my wife.”
