Noli de Castro immediately became trending on social media because of his emotional speech before ABS-CBN officially signed off.
KAMI learned that the said news anchor was still able to interview people and go to work amid the “cease and desist” order against his network.
On the latter part of the last episode of TV Patrol, the veteran broadcast-journalist stated that the network owes everything to the people for their overwhelming support.
He also emotionally quipped that even though ABS-CBN will sign off, its employees will not be silenced by the attack on the freedom of the press.
