COVID-19 PANDEMIC: BRUNEI- 28 days with no new cases

The Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Mohammad Isham Hj Jaafar at the daily COVID-19 press briefing said that no new COVID-19 case in was recorded in Brunei today, maintaining the national tally at 141.
The total number of recovered patients remains at 138. Only one patient, who is still in critical condition remains under treatment at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 320 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV2 virus, that brings the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 20,205 tests.
The health minister also informed that a total of 272,190 individuals have registered as users to BruHealth application. In addition, a total of 5,330 businesses and premises have registered for the application.

Tuition and music schools reopen June 5
The health minister today announced that as part of the de-escalation plan of restrictions, tuition schools and music schools will be allowed to reopen for one-on-one classes only starting June 5.
