Myanmar’s post-coup junta has shut down independent media outlets and detained dozens of journalists. Many who are still free have fled to its border areas or even abroad. But news on the Myanmar crisis has not dried up. We look at how Myanmar media are persisting in their coverage.

That was the case until the Myanmar military seized power on Feb 1 and shut down media outlets, and detained journalists who were closely documenting the regime’s violence against people resisting its rule.
