FOR SALE: $4.5 million Hancock Park House- Manny ‘PacMan’ Pacquiao
Manny ‘PacMan’ Pacquiao Seeks to Knock Out Hancock Park House Sale Once and for All
Manny Pacquiao is not one to throw in the towel. Though the legendary Filipino boxing champ-turned-politician has been unsuccessfully trying to unload his home in the affluent L.A. enclave of Hancock Park on and off for the past eight years now — each time asking the same $2.7 million — he’s decided to enter the real estate ring once again. This time he’s going way bigger, seeking a punched-up $4.5 million — more than double the $2 million Pacquiao and his fashionista wife Jinkee paid for the Mediterranean-style property way back in 2009.
If the couple doesn’t get their new price, it’s probably no big deal. After all, they still have at least several other pricey properties to fall back on — including a lavish compound in the Philippines known as the “White House” — plus Pacquiao’s estimated $26 million fortune, per Forbes. Currently serving as a senator in his home country, the retired fighter, 42, plans to run for president there in 2022; he’s also co-producing a Filipino-Hollywood feature called “Angel Warrior,” based on a true WWII story, that’s slated for U.S. and worldwide release late next year.
Originally built in 2008 and once featured on “MTV Cribs,” the two-story house is nestled securely behind gates, and includes five bedrooms and six bathrooms spread across a little over 4,200 square feet of somewhat generic living space. A small foyer graces the main level, which also sports a fireside living room and a formal dining room. There’s a gourmet kitchen decked out with fancy Bosch and Miele appliances, a built-in coffee bar and stone-topped island.
Upstairs, the master suite includes a sitting area, balcony and walk-in closet, plus a stone-clad bathroom. And though it’s fairly compact, the backyard packs quite a punch with a pool and spa flanked by a fire feature, and an al fresco dining area. Gina Bush of Home Team Realty is the listing agent.
