Kris Aquino was visited by her former “Kris TV” sidekick and head writer Darla Sauler after almost three years of not seeing each other in person.

Sauler gave a glimpse of his reunion with Aquino and her two sons Josh and Bimby, via Sauler’s Instagram page yesterday, April 6.

“Ang saya na finally nakabisita na sa ’yo. Love you guys so much! And tuloy-tuloy lang ako sa dasal for your health Krisy,” he said. (It brings me so much joy to have finally visited you. [I] love you guys so much and I continuously pray for your health, Kris.)

Sauler told fans that his visit marks the first time he saw the Queen of All Media personally after a few years, though he pointed out that they talk with each other almost everyday.

“[Gano’n] talaga pag yung ka-trabaho mo, nagtitiwala sa ’yo at tinatrato kang kaibigan… eventually magiging pamilya talaga kayo. Kaya nakaka-emo to see Kuya and lalo na si Bimb na literal kong nasubaybayan ang paglaki,” he stated.

(That’s how it really goes when the people you work with trust you and treat you as a friend. They eventually turn into family. That’s why I’m getting emotional seeing Josh and Bimby, who I literally watched growing up.)

Sauler also expressed his gratitude for the good relationship he has not only with Aquino but also with other hosts he had worked with in the past.

“Thank you Lord kasi lahat halos ng hosts na nakatrabaho ko before, hanggang ngayon bahagi pa rin ng buhay ko [kasi] may tiwala, pagmamahal at respeto lagi sa puso,” he added.

(Thank you Lord because almost all hosts that I have worked with before are still a part of my life until now, because there’s trust, love and respect in our hearts.)

Aquino was earlier visited by her friend and fellow actress Angel Locsin who accompanied her in undergoing medical tests and treatments.

Aquino has recently been diagnosed with erosive gastritis and gastric ulcer on top of her autoimmune disease. She is set to fly abroad with her sons to seek treatment, but the date of their departure has not yet been disclosed. JB
