A travel influencer has been forced into hiding after a deranged stalker bombarded her with hundreds of sick threats before flying to Bali and appearing near her street.
American Alexandra Saper, 31, had been living an glamorous life on the Indonesian island after walking away from her high-flying law job in Washington DC in 2018 to produce lifestyle content for her followers.
But her world was turned upside down by a sinister man in the UK who started sending ‘obsessive’ messages and videos about a year ago.
.
Ms Saper told Daily Mail Australia that at first the messages were ‘odd’ but then became progressively darker, including threats of ‘graphic physical and sexual violence’.
In a frightening escalation he flew across the globe under the delusion that her Instagram posts were ‘coded messages’ calling him to her.
.
In reality the social media star who goes by the moniker, The Wayfaress, does not know the man and has never responded to him.
‘You make my body go absolutely crazy,’ one message read.
‘I’m going to spend the rest of my life with you. If that includes kidnapping so be it.
‘I’m getting to that island as soon as I can. This process is out of control.’
Disturbingly, he also taunted her, by saying he was ‘immune’ from being caught because ‘I am a white British educated man’.
In the past week a terrified Ms Saper told her army of followers in an Instagram video that she’s fled the island to an undisclosed location putting her online businesses on hold after the man sent a photo of himself on a Bali street near her home.

“I do feel safer now that I’m far away hiding from this man, but that’s only a temporary solution,’ she said.
‘I still have anxiety attacks (which I’ve never had before) where my body is totally overtaken by fear.’
Ms Saper, who also works as a female empowerment coach advising young women, admits she now feels too scared to go outside in public or be alone.
She is furious that despite reporting the threats to authorities in Bali, the UK and the US, her stalker remains free to harass her.
‘It’s not ok that women are expected to wait until its too late to be taken seriously,’ she said.

‘I want him locked up immediately… and removed from society for a very long time.
‘Justice requires that this man be arrested, immediately, for the clear crimes he’s committed in multiple countries, and the danger he poses to all women.
‘I hope he can never return to Indonesia. And I will do everything I can to make sure that he’s arrested the minute he returns to the UK and is removed from society for a very long time.
‘It is unacceptable that he be allowed to victimise a single other woman every again.’
