P ope Francis kicked off the second day of his papal visit to Indonesia on Wednesday by meeting President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo at the Presidential Palace in Central Jakarta, where he addressed the importance of strengthening the nation’s unity and interfaith ties to combat religious extremism and intolerance.
