TRIVIA: Household- Bathroom Tips.

I. Give the amount of water and humidity your bathroom is subjected to on a daily basis, it’s basically like a tropical climate in there. This means, to prevent the accumulation of mold, you need to allow the room proper air circulation. An exhaust fan is a great way to draw out moisture, but keeping the bathroom door or window open will do the trick as well.

  • II. After using the shower, don’t forget to draw the shower curtain open all the way to let air flow freely and allow all the water to drain away. To keep moisture from building up on the walls, wipe them down with a squeegee regularly. Watch out for leaks in the sink and toilet as these lead to mold growth if they’re left to run wild. Lastly, make sure you clean your bathroom regularly..–THIS SPACE BELOW IS RESERVE FOR YOUR ADVERTISEMENT –

  • III. Your exhaust fan is no exemption from dust accumulation. It builds up in the slits over time and makes your fan work poorly. To test whether your fan needs cleaning, check its strength by putting toilet paper in front of it. If it doesn’t have the strength to pull up the toilet paper, it’s definitely time for a good old cleaning (or possibly replacement). To effectively clean your bathroom exhaust, use a vacuum hose with a brush attachment. If there is a blockage in the exhaust pipe, clean it using a dryer vent brush..–THIS SPACE BELOW IS RESERVE FOR YOUR ADVERTISEMENT –

There are plenty of grout cleaning products available on the market, just be cautious in your use of them because some of these agents can be very toxic. A good substitute is to make your own grout cleaner by adding baking soda to hydrogen peroxide..–THIS SPACE BELOW IS RESERVE FOR YOUR ADVERTISEMENT –
