A work plan is being formulated to implement the ASEAN Agreement on Electronic Commerce aimed at establishing a common fundamental foundation in accelerating intra-regional economic integration towards a regional digital economy. The initiative to foster a resilient ASEAN through leveraging on new technologies was revealed by Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah in his speech at the virtual G20 Digital Ministers’ Meeting on August 5 at the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
