AFTER qualifying for the finals of the British Darts Organisation (BDO) World Darts Championship, Brunei Darussalam darts player Pengiran Mohamed bin Pengiran Haji Matarsad is determined to revive his quest of competing in another major competition and his route on his return to the United Kingdom has already begun.

The darts player emulated his exploits last year by winning the regional qualifiers of the BDO World Trophy after captivating The Grandstand in Petaling Jaya with a number of fine finishes recently.

Pengiran Mohamed, who is known for his stage moniker D’Amazing, will be meeting world number three Scott Mitchell in the first round of the BDO World Trophy at the Preston Guild Hall in Preston, England on May 30.

The Bruneian, who made history after becoming the first Bruneian to make an appearance in the BDO World Championship earlier this year, has entered the last 32 round but will be facing his sternest test yet against the 2015 world champion.

Pengiran Mohamed, who is currently ranked 597th in the BDO world rankings, is named in the list ahead of fellow compatriots Nur Alimin Haji Rais and Haji Azmi.

The WDF qualifier has been active in the organisation since 2007 where he was ranked 1151st in the world and has jumped into a career-high of 506th this year after completing the 2017 season as the 2315th ranked player./ |     Fadhil Yunus     |  All photographs, news, editorials, opinions, information, data, others have been taken from the Internet ..aseanews.net | [email protected] / For comments, Email to : SPORTS STATION | [email protected] | Contributor
