TELEVISION SERIES: SINGAPORE – Taiwanese magician wins ‘Asia’s Got Talent’ Season 3

MANILA, Philippines — Taiwanese magician Eric Chien was named grand champion of the international talent competition “Asia’s Got Talent” Season 3 on Thursday.

“I had a lot of doubts about myself, but winning this has given me a lot of confidence. I will continue to share my magic with the world and I know I will do even better next time,” Chien said after winning the competition.

The 26-year-old magician clinched the $100,000 grand prize and complimentary flights on Vietjet Air for up to one year.

Malaysian mathematics whiz Yaashwin Sarawanan placed second place, while Filipino contemporary acrobatic dance group Power duo finished third.

The announcement of winners of the competition was held at the Marina Bay Sands’ Sands Theatre in Singapore.

Other Filipino acts who competed in the grand finals were hand shadow artist Shadow Ace and dance group Junior Good Vibes. /muf
