Fans pleased with experience as Games organisers settle food, logistics and transport problems

The long road from Angeles City to New Clark City begins with a ride through dusty streets teeming with cars, jeepneys and honking trikes (motorised tricycles), before it gives way to bucolic countryside.

Amid the padi fields lies the spanking new development built for the 30th SEA Games comprising a 20,000-seater athletics stadium, 2,000-capacity aquatic centre and the Athletes’ Village.
