There are still three COVID-19 positive victims undergoing hospitalization and treatment in Sihanoukville, Kompong Cham and Banteay Meanchey.

Ministry of Health officials continued to urge caution and stringent vigilance against the disease due to the possibility of asymptomatic carriers.

They also reiterated their appeal for recovered patients to go into 14 days’ self-isolation to prevent any relapse.

There has thus far been one case of relapse recorded on April 9, 2020.

The WHO has said that cases of COVID-19 – as with other diseases – are broadly defined under a three-tier system: suspected, probable and confirmed cases.
