Brunei Darussalam continues to report no new COVID-19 cases, with the national tally remaining at 141. Only one active COVID-19 patient remains at the National Isolation Centre (NIC).

 No new case, recovery today

The Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Mohammad Isham Hj Jaafar at the daily COVID-19 press briefing said that no new COVID-19 case in was recorded in Brunei today, maintaining the national tally at 141.

The total number of recovered patients remains at 138. Only one patient, who is still in critical condition remains under treatment  at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 256 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV2 virus, that brings the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 19,386 tests.


Over 250,000 on BruHealth App

The health minister informed that a total of 254,637 individuals have registered as users to the BruHealth application. He urged members of the public who have not registered to download and register to the app.

He also shared that a total of 4,524 businesses and premises have registered for the application. For business premises such as supermarkets, grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, stalls and food courts that have not registered yet, they are required to obtain a QR code for their premises and ensure that visitors scan and has a color code before being allowed into the premises. This is in addition to providing hand sanitiser as well as body temperature checks.
