BRUNEI- No new case reported today

The Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Mohammad Isham bin Hj Jaafar at the daily COVID-19 press briefing said that no new COVID-19 case in was recorded in Brunei today, maintaining the national tally at 141.

The total number of recovered patients remains at 138. Only one patient, who is still in critical condition remains under treatment at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong.

At this time, 88 individuals are currently undergoing quarantine in accordance to the Infectious Diseases Act (Chapter 204) and a total of 2,735 individuals have completed their quarantine and are in good condition.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 415 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV2 virus, that brings the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 23,708 tests.

The health minister also informed that a total of 368,599 individuals have registered as users to BruHealth application. In addition, a total of 7,063 businesses and premises have registered for the application.

Thailand reports no new coronavirus cases, no new deaths

BANGKOK (REUTERS) – Thailand on Thursday (June 11) reported no new coronavirus infections or deaths, maintaining the total of 3,125 confirmed cases and 58 fatalities.

It was the first time in nearly three weeks that no cases were reported and the 17th day without a local transmission. All recent cases have been found in quarantine among Thais returning from abroad.

There are 2,987 patients who have recovered, said Panprapa Yongtrakul, a spokeswoman for the government’s Covid-19 Administration Centre.
