People should brace themselves for more strong winds, thunder storms, and rain to hit the country on June 23 to 29, following an announcement of the Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology released on June 22 about the weather conditions.

Over the next week, Cambodia will be affected by a low-pressure area and the southwest monsoon.

The weather conditions would make the central lowlands experience minimum temperature of 24-26 ° C and a maximum temperature of 33-35 ° C. There will be light to moderate rain. Meanwhile, some parts of the lower provinces may receive heavy rainfall.

The provinces along the Dangrek Mountains and the Northeastern Plateau will have a minimum temperature of 22-24 ° C and a maximum temperature of 31-33 ° C, with moderate to heavy rainfall.

In the coastal areas, the minimum temperature will be 24-26 ° C and the maximum temperature will be 31-33 ° C, with light to moderate rainfall.

The Ministry has warned the public to take precaution because of the rain, lightning, and strong winds, especially those living in the central lowlands.
