The UK is hosting the UN Climate Change Conference – known as COP26 – in Glasgow from 1-12 November 2021. As we enter this critical decade of climate action – and against the backdrop of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic – this summit is poised to be one of the most consequential climate events since the negotiation of the Paris Agreement in 2015. In order to build a more sustainable, resilient and zero-carbon future, we need a whole economy transformation in which non-state actors will play an increasingly vital role.
