Cavite Governor Juanito Victor “Jonvic” Remulla took down a January 11 Twitter survey, where he asked netizens who they were voting for president.

Remulla listed out four names in the Twitter poll, the maximum number of options allowed by the social media platform. In order, the mock poll had LACSON, PACQUIAO, MARCOS, and ROBREDO.

The informal poll garnered a total of 20,684 votes, with Robredo leading at 81%. Marcos, Lacson, and Pacquiao got 11%, 7%, and 1%, respectively.

On Monday, 11:31 PM, a netizen pointed out that Remulla’s Tweet has been deleted. “Bakit po ni-delete (Why was it deleted)?” he asks.

Since 2016, the National Unity Party (NUP), of which Remulla is part of, has been an ally of President Rodrigo Duterte’s PDP-Laban.

Yahoo Philippines has reached out to Remulla about his reason of taking down the informal survey.

Political news website Politiko says that NUP is endorsing the tandem of Senators Panfilo Lacson and Tito Sotto for the top two executive posts, but it remains unclear in official platforms what the party is endorsing.

On September 30, Remulla took an oath confirming his membership to NUP. Joining him were representatives LRay Villafuerte, Boying Remull, and Cristal Bagatsing.
