VOLUNTEERS from all 16 La Salle schools nationwide announced support for the presidential candidacy of Vice President Maria Leonor “Leni” Robredo in the upcoming 2022 polls.

Students, personnel, and alumni from the La Salle community will launch the “From Green to Pink: Mga Lasalyano Para sa Tapat na Pamumuno (Lasallians for an Honest Leadership)” event next week, January 21, to boost Robredo’s bid.

The group said it will announce during the event its “plans to court the youth vote come May 9.”

Opposition personalities will be joining the panel for this discussion, including former senators Paolo Benigno “Bam” Aquino 4th and Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes 4th, former Education secretary Bro. Armin Luistro, former Ifugao Governor Teodoro “Teddy” Baguilat Jr., and Team Leni Robredo Convenor Joelle Domingo.

Robredo herself and vice presidential running mate Sen. Francis “Kiko” Pangilinan are also set to give remarks during the event.

Solidarity messages will also be delivered by De La Salle University College of Law Dean and senatorial candidate lawyer Jose Manuel “Chel” Diokno, Sen. Ana Theresia “Risa” Hontiveros, senatorial candidate lawyer Alex LacsonFederation of Free Workers President lawyer Sonny Matula, and former Deputy Speaker Lorenzo “Erin” Tañada 3rd.

The event will go live on the Facebook page of Lasallians for Leni on January 21, 6 p.m.
