President Rodrigo Duterte had planned on going to former president Benigno Aquino 3rd’s wake last week, Palace spokesman Harry Roque Jr. disclosed on Monday.

Aquino, who died on Thursday, was laid to rest on Saturday at the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque City. Duterte was not seen during the three-day wake.
