Given the demand for student housing there are a number of dormitories in North Dagon, as well as restaurants that are frequented by undergraduates and staff from the university.
Aside from the university North Dagon contains a total of 24 primary schools, one middle school and two high schools. It neighbors East Dagon Myothit township to the east and north, and South Okkalapa township in the west. South Dagon Myothit borders North Dagon to the south.

If you search North Dagon on Google Maps you’ll notice many coffee shops and restaurants. 24-hour Capital Hyper Markets and a City Mart also provide residents with plenty of shopping convenience.
There is a night market near the Taw Win Housing Complex, which is a major attraction of North Dagon township in the evenings.

Although it is a newly created township, it is quite prosperous. Given the low density housing there’s much less traffic congestion than downtown suburbs, saving residents time when shopping and traveling.
North Dagon township is located near the international airport and highway bus terminals, both of which are just half-an-hour away by car. As there are also YBS lines that run directly to Aung Mingalar Highway Terminal, travelers can save both time and money.
