Police put brakes on tyre thieving trio

Three youth were arrested for stealing tyres and rims from parked cars recently. The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) said Muhammad Azem Hazwan bin Abdul Razak, 22, and Mohd Shahrulddin bin Mohd Sopihan, 18, together with an unnamed 16-year-old, had stolen four tyres from a car in the Serusop commercial area on September 24. The three had used bricks to support the vehicle after removing the tyres. Four tyres with rims were stolen from a car in the parking area of Kampong Sungai Bunga on October 14.
