The Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Mohammad Isham bin Hj Jaafar at the daily COVID-19 press briefing said that no new COVID-19 case in was recorded in Brunei today, maintaining the national tally at 141.

No active cases are being treated at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong.

At this time, all close contact of patients have completed the 14-day quarantine period in accordance to the Infectious Diseases Act (Chapter 204). A total of 2,823 individuals have completed their quarantine.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 539 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV2 virus, that brings the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 27,385 tests.

Currently there are 418 individuals who are undergoing mandatory isolation at dedicated government quarantine centres, who have just arrived in the country after traveling abroad. At present, a total of 2,554 individuals have completed their mandatory self-isolation at the monitoring centres.

The health minister also informed that a total of 399,288 individuals have registered as users to BruHealth application. In addition, a total of 10,535 businesses and premises have registered for the application.
