COVID-19 PANDEMIC: PHNOM PENH: Quarantined man found dead in an isolation room in Tboung Khmum

A 21-year-old man who was placed in quarantine at an isolation room in Tboung Khmum province’s Krouch Chhmar district was found dead yesterday and the cause has yet to be determined.

Keo Vannak, director of Tboung Khmum provincial health department, confirmed the death of the man, saying the man was put in quarantine for three days.

Vannak said that the man may have bought medicine somewhere outside, and had drug allergy. He said that the man might have died of a heart attack.

His specimen was sent to the Pasteur institute in Phnom Penh and the result is yet to be known.
