Worker hit by vehicle on Temburong bridge dies
A contract worker died after he was hit by a car on the Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Bridge on August 8. The incident occurred in the forest area of Labu, Temburong District, about 1.7km from the Labu roundabout, when a vehicle heading towards Kota Batu in the Brunei-Muara District hit a contract worker carrying out repairs on the bridge’s road surface, said a statement by The Brunei Bridge Authority under the Ministry of Development.
