PHNOM PENH, Cambodia- No need to close Phnom Penh or Cambodia because of Omicron -PM Hun Sen:

Responding to rumours that the Royal Government plans to close Phnom Penh or close the country after the spread of Omicron, PM Hun Sen has declared that there is no need to for closure like in 2021 due to the high vaccination rate.
The PM made his remarks on the occasion of the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of Boeung Choeung Ek wastewater treatment plant in Meanchey district, Phnom Penh, on the morning of February 22, 2022.
The PM advised people not to worry that the Royal Government wants to close the country again, which leads to panic buying of food or supplies, creating an abnormal increase in commodity prices.
