Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI), visited the water supply station of Rithyrath Water Investment in Kampong Chhnang province and donated 200 water metres to support families in need on October 16.

The ministry highlighted that Rithyrath Water Investment currently provides clean water to 1,400 families across 27 villages in Kampong Trolach commune.

Some families are yet to connect in the water supply network due to financial constraints, the source said, stressing that the donation will enable 200 additional families to access clean water.

While handing over water meters, Minister Vanndy encouraged residents to use clean water daily for better health.

The Minister also urged residents to cooperate in maintaining the water distribution network and to report if there are any leaks to prevent water loss. AKP
